Fabian is built to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.
Our goal
Everyone should be able to learn about Fabian, sign up and run their marketing with it, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Every control works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a skip link at the top of each page.
- Search is in the header of every page, and ⌘K, Ctrl K or the slash key opens it from the keyboard.
- Animations follow your device’s Reduce Motion setting, and Stop animations in the accessibility menu holds every moving demonstration.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast, reading text is at least 16 px on phones, and pages still work zoomed to 200%.
- Every touch target is at least 44 by 44 px, and pages fit the most common phone screens and foldables without sideways scrolling.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the sample account’s activity has a text equivalent.
Known limitations
The sample account on the homepage animates on its own. Stop animations in the accessibility menu holds it, and it stays still when Reduce Motion is on. Parts of the signed-in app are still being reviewed against WCAG 2.2, and we fix what we find in order of impact.
Compatibility
Fabian is built for the current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox, on desktop and on iOS and Android.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this website or in the app doesn’t work for you, tell Ankord Labs by replying to any email Fabian sends you. Say what you were trying to do and what device and assistive technology you use, and we’ll work with you on a fix.
